Morgantown 77, Preston 25
The MHS freshman team traveled to Preston High for a game on 12/09. MHS never trailed, as they defeated Preston by a commanding 77-25. Derek Long was the top MHS scorer with 13 points, followed by Josh Matheny with 11 points and Junius Lewis with 10.  Huston Strader was the top rebounder with 10, Andrew Saab had 6 rebounds and 6 steals, and Tyler Berryman had 4 rebounds and 5 assists.

Once again, MHS lead the entire game! Huston Strader again was top rebounder with 10. Tyler Berryman had a great game with 9 points, 5 steals, and 3 assists. Leading Mohigan scorers were Derek Long (12), Charlie Russell (10), and Josh Matheny (9). JT Lewis had 7 assists. MHS travels to North Marion on 12/15 for a 7:30 pm game with the Huskies.

The Freshman team traveled to North Marion Tuesday night and defeated the Huskies 67-35.

Mohigan 63 Elkins 33 1/8/04
It was a cold and snowy night and the Mohigan ninth graders slid into Elkins and pulled out a 63-33 victory over the steadily improving Tigers. Leading
the way for MHS was Junius Lewis with 15 points and 5 rebounds. Tyler Berryman led the team with 8 assists and Charlie Russell had 6 points and 8
rebounds. Huston Stradder had nine points, Derrick Long 5 assists and Elliott Law had 6 rebounds and 5 steals. Mhs will host John Marshall at 12:00 on
Saturday at the Clyde Gym.

Charlie Russell's 21 points and 10 rebounds led Morgantown (8-0) past East Fairmont, 74-46. Trent Wilson led the Bees with 16 points and Derrick Sevier added 11.

Jamie Karraker 10pts., Derek Long 5 assists, Elliott Law had 7 rebounds * Jamie Karracker's 10 points paced the Morgantown boys past rival University High 82-36, improving the Mohigans record to 10-0. Nathan Carter scored 13 points and Mack Tripplet added 12 for UHS.

* Charlie Russell scored 12 points and Derek Long added 11 as Morgantown (12-0) defeated John Marshall, 67-39. Cy Mozongo led John Marshall with 13.

Morgantown 55 Fairmont Senior 59
* Matt Pellillo poured in 27 points for Fairmont Senior as the Polar Bears handed Morgantown its first loss, 59-55. Junius Lewis scored 19 points for the Mohigans (12-1).
MOHIGAN 9TH GRADERS ROUT BEES

Morgantown 74 East Fairmont, 40
The MHS 9th grade team took care of East Fairmont on Monday night at the Hive, by a score of 74-40. The game marked the last in a long career against the Mohigans by Coach Mark Hoffman (Jeff's brother, as he will retire at the end of the season). Junius Lewis scored 13 points to lead a balanced attack and Tyler Berryman added 6 assist and 6 points. Charlie Russle had 8 points and 7 rebounds. Huston Strader had 8 points and Jamie Karracker had 8 points
and 4 assists. MHS will host Fairmont West tuesday at the Clyde Gym. A win tonight will
give th Mohigans their 4th straight NCAC freshmen Championship.

Morgantown 63 Fairmont Senior 45
Mohigan Frosh Claim NCAC Championship
The MHS Freshmen team claimed at least a tie for the NCAC Championship with a win over Fairmont West on Tuesday evening at the MAC, by a score of 63-45. Charlie Russell had 16 points and 7 rebounds to lead the way. Derick Long added 12 points and 7 assists, Andrew Saab had eight points and Junius Lewis had 7 points and 6 rebounds. The win avenged the Mohigan's only loss of the season and put Morgantown in a position to claim the championship out right, on Friday when they host Preston at home. Huston Strader added 5 points, Jamie Karracker 6 points and JT Lewis contributed a three pointer.
