COACHES AGAINST CANCER TOURNAMENT
December 29-30, 2003
at Morgantown High School

The MHS boys will host South Charleston, Wheeling Park, and Atholton (Columbia, MD).  The MHS girls will host East Fairmont, Laurel Highlands (PA), and Chartiers Valley (PA).

Junior Varsity and Varsity parents are asking for help with the concession stand on Tuesday, December 30.  JV parents and Varsity parents will be working the 50/50, hospitality room, half-time shoot out, etc.  We will need help during these "shifts" -- 3 pm to 4:45, 4:45 to 6:30, 6:30 to 8:15, and 8:15 until 9:30.  We will need two people for each time.  If your child would like to come and help with you, they are welcome to help out.  We need at least one adult in the concession stand.  If you are able to help, please e-mail MaremasterT@aol.com.

On Sunday, December 28, we will be sponsoring a banquet at the Radisson.  Tickets are $25 each, and you have your choice of prime rib, lasagna, or chicken.  Guest speaker is Coach Mike Carey, WVU Women's Basketball.  Please call Coach Hoffman at 288-5753 for information or reservations.

MHS BOYS BASKETBALL RAFFLE

The annual MHS boys basketball raffle is now being sold. For $5.00 you can have a chance to win $50.00, $75.00, or $250.00. Each days winning amount for that day is listed on the ticket. The raffle runs for the month of February. This popular raffle helps raise money to cover travel expenses for the MHS boys basketbball team. If the team should make the state tournament then it is used to help with expenses for the tournament. Otherwise the money will be used for spring basketball. So it is a very worthwhile donation to the team. Tickets can be purchased from any team parent. Please support this effort.
