MOHIGAN GUARD HAS THREE OFFERS FOR COLLEGE

It looks like Morgantown's run of basketball players getting offers to play in college
will continue. 6&Mac226;4 wing player Chris Carey has received offers from Fairmont State,
Alderson Broaddus and Concord to continue his career after high school. „I am
getting calls, daily from WVIAC teams‰ said assistant Coach Jeff Hoffman. „Chris
wants to stay close to home and I think he would make an excellent Conference
player. It seems like the better our program does the more our players are getting
offers. Dusty Kerns and John Oliver have had colleges inquire about their future,
also.‰ John recently had a 1350 on his SAT and is considering many schools that
have excellent academic programs. Since 2001 MHS has had 9 players receive
College basketball offers. Dusty is receiving heavy interest from Lebannon
Valley, Waynesburg and Messiah. John has interest from such schools as
Washington and Lee, Wheaton, Indiana Wesleyan and John&Mac226;s Hopkins. MHS
will start practice on Nov. 15. The Freshmen team will begin on Nov. 8.
