Freshman boys 2/2/06
    Tyler Anderson scored 12 points and Cody Petitte 10 to lead Morgantown (15-1) past John Marshall, 72-48. Thomas Jones and John Coffield had 13 each for the Monarchs.

Freshman boys’ basketball 1/31/06
    Morgantown High (13-1) beat crosstown rival University High 59-53 on Monday. Cody Petitte led Morgantown with 17 points. Brady Tucker put up 15 for the Mohigans while Justin Tichenor added 14 points. The Hawks were led by Cole Mertins with 16, Brandon Tucker with 12 and Mark Golden with 11 points.
Freshman girls’ basketball
    Morgantown High (11-2) defeated University High on Monday. Rebecca Small led the Mohigans with 11 points. Lorrie Bowsher scored 10 for the Hawks. MHS plays again tonight against Buckhannon.

MHS 12-1 VS North Marion & John Marshall1/28/06
    Brady Tucker scored 13 points, Cody Petitte and Tyler Anderson 11 each, and Morgantown High (12-1) bounced back from its first defeat by beating North Marion, 52-34. Justin Cain had 14 and Kelly Garrett 10 for the Huskies. Late Wednesday, John Marshall edged the Mohigans, 37-34 in overtime. Tucker led MHS, with nine. Chris Montes, with eight, topped the Monarchs.

MHS 8-0 VS UHS 1/05/06
    University High (6-2) lost at home to undefeated rival Morgantown (8-0), 65-48, on Monday. Cody Petitte and Brady Tucker hit 14 points for the Mohigans. The Hawks were led by Aaron Zachar, who put up 15.

MHS VS ELKINS 1/05/06
    Seth Quirk netted 16 points and North Marion edge University, 51-50, handing the Hawks their first loss in seven games. Marky Golden scored 19 and Aaron Zachar 12 for UHS.
    Brady Tucker scored 14 points and Justin Tichenor 12 to help Morgantown (7-0) defeat Elkins, 69-43. David Doerr had 15 and Brett Shreve 10 for the Tigers.

MHS VS BUCKHANNON 12/20/05
Morgantown (5-0) beat Buckhannon-Upshur, 65-20. Brady Tucker led the Mohigans, with 16 points.

MHS VS EAST FAIRMONT 12/16/05
    Morgantown High improved to 4-0 with a 65-20 victory against East Fairmont. Chase Wilson scored 12 points and Brady Tucker tallied 10 to lead the way.

MHS VS EAST FAIRMONT 12/14/05
Justin Tichenor tossed in 15 points and Cody Petitte 13 as Morgantown (3-0) defeated North Marion (1-0), 56-49.

MHS VS PRESTON 12/08/05
    Cody Petitte led four Mohigans in double figures with 13 points as Morgantown (1-0) defeated Preston (0-1), 79-36. Tyler Anderson added 12 points, Brady Tucker 11 and Justin Tichenor 10 for MHS. Kevin Fike topped Preston, with 18.
