A rematch with Capital will be the highlight of next year’s schedule for the Mohigan basketball team. MHS will meet up with the Cougars at the Civic Center in Charleston on Dec. 14 at 6:50 as part of the Hoops Classic. Morgantown and Capital meet in last season’s state semifinals with Mohigans winning a close contest. Capital returns all five starters and MHS will return several that started at one time or another during the past season.

MHS will also visit Parkersburg South and play in the Holiday tournament, and visit Martinsburg, John Marshall and Wheeling Park as part of their non conference schedule. South will visit MHS on January 4^th for a return match-up.

The NCAC looks to be improved this year as University will return several players with experience and an undefeated junior dominated JV team. “UHS will have an experienced team with all the seniors on their roster,” said Coach Hoffman. “They will be looking for revenge from last year’s sectional loss to us.” Other conference teams that look strong will be Preston, East and West Fairmont. “Many of these teams are playing spring and summer ball, and are improving every day.”
