LAW SIGNS WITH GENEVA

Geneva College and the Golden Tornadoes basketball program is set to welcome Morgantown High School graduate Elliott Law. The 6'3 forward looks to be an immediate impact type player as a freshman in the 2007-08 recruiting class.

Geneva College, the birthplace of college basketball, began competing intercollegiately in 1893, with the site of the first ever college game. Since then, the Golden Tornadoes have remained one of the most competitive teams in the region.
Joining NCAA Division III and the Presidents' Athletic Conference in 2007, Geneva had been a charter member of the NAIA since 1940, where it made of name for itself as one of the most respected programs in the country. With six consecutive post-season trips under their belt, the Golden Tornadoes will look to continue their success with the new challenge of Division III basketball.
Jeff Santarsiero, Geneva's head coach, has been with the program for the last 19 years, the last 11 of which he has controlled the reigns as head coach.
Santarsiero will again welcome an impressive class of freshmen, led by the talents of Elliott Law.

 

Elliott will always be remembered for his play during the post season of the 2006-07 season as helped the Mohigans advance to the state final four in Charleston. During the post season Elliott averaged 11 points, 3 assists, 5 rebounds and 2 steals per game. MHS finished with a 19-7 record this year.
