3 Mohigans, 3 Knights, 2 Hawks are all-NCAC

Three players each from Morgantown and Preston High and two from University were named to the all-NCAC boys’ basketball team, released Thursday.
Seniors Ryan Parsons and Sam Runner both earned first-team honors for the Mohigans, while fellow senior Jordan Barnette was named to the second team.
PHS senior T.J. Thompson and his younger brother junior Cody Thompson were named to the first team, while PHS junior Colton Goff earned second-team honors.
University junior Alex Harrison and sophomore Max Perrot earned spots on the second team for the Hawks.
Fairmont Senior’s Ty Garrison was named NCAC Player of the Year, while FSHS head coach Davis Retton earned Coach of the Year.
Rounding out the first team were Garrison’s FSHS teammates Jonathan Logan and Ryan Sevier, and Elkins’ Nic Hammond.
East Fairmont’s Jacob Brewer and Tyler McCutchen, North Marion’s Brad Hamrick and Quint Cochran, and Elkins’ Rusty Harsh earned spots on the second team.
