Mohigans, Knights, Cee-Bees earn boys’ basketball victories 1-22-2013
The Dominion Post

There was no letdown for the Morgantown High boys’ basketball team Tuesday night.
Fresh off Saturday’s upset of top-ranked Martinsburg and right before Friday’s crosstown rivalry matchup with University, the Mohigans pounded Parkersburg, 69-54.
“It’s hard to play after you beat the big-time team and you’re playing a team not quite as good and then have to play your crosstown rival on Friday,” MHS head coach Tom Yester said. “It wasn’t horrible, but it wasn’t great. Hopefully we’ll play better on Friday.”
Still, MHS took command right away and never let up, stretching its lead to 25 before Yester took out the starters.
Nathan Adrian poured in 24 points and grabbed 15 rebounds in three quarters of action. Dean Marshall, Nicolas Colasante and Mark Johnson dished three assists apiece.
MHS forward Austin Agnew did not play because of a knee injury sustained in the Martinsburg contest. Yester said he has been working with the MHS athletic trainers, and hopes to return for the UHS game. Tipoff is set for 7:30 p.m., at MHS.
