Coach Jeff Hoffman began coaching at East Fairmont and its feeder system in 1982. In 1993 he moved to Morgantown High and was a varsity assistant and JV coach until the end of the 2009 season. His overall scholastic record was 428-70. His overall record at Morgantown High was 277-38. During his career he coached over 40 players to a college scholarship playing basketball. He also helped Morgantown High to its best decade of basketball in its history, helping the Mohigans to 8 state tournament appearances in 10 years.

Jeff has had an impact on off-season basketball in Morgantown, helping to organize youth basketball leagues and tournaments and he currently teaches at Mountaineer Middle School and started teaching in 1988 in the Monongalia County school system. He received his undergraduate degree from Fairmont State College in 1985 and his masters from WVU in 1989.

Currently, Coach Hoffman is the administrator of the Morgantown Youth Basketball as well as an announcer for Mohigan basketball games on the internet at Mohigan Basketball Radio.
