VARSITY TO HOST PRESTON TONIGHT

You better catch the Mohigans now, because after these first two games (tonight and next Tuesday), MHS will only be home, one time in the next fifty days. ThatÕs right, Morgantown will play 12 of the next 13 games away after these first two home games. Tonight, offers one of the more attractive games in the state this year as both Morgantown and Preston are expected to finish in the top 10 rankings by season end. So come on over to the Rowdy Center tonight and catch a great match up.

Preston features one of the finest players in the state, in TJ Thompson. Many of you that go to Nate Smith for workouts have no doubt seen TJ around. The 6Õ4 shooting guard was the NCAC player of the year last year and averaged over 20 points per game. The Knights also sport a 6Õ9 center in James Crogan.

Morgantown has won 17 of the last 18 games played between the two schools, but expect tonightÕs game to be a very good match up.

Both tonightÕs game and the game next Tuesday against East Fairmont will be Òfood pantryÓ nights, anyone with a canned good can take one dollar off admission. Next Tuesday will also be a ÒBuck NightÓ for all MHS students. So come out and help the Mohigans, as they take on the Knights and Bees!

SOUTH GAMES LAST NIGHT CANCELLED, PLAY AT WEST FAIRMONT TONIGHT

Due to lack of eligible players, last eveningÕs games between South and Lafeyette (Uniontown) had to be cancelled. Lafeyette had too many players out and the game was cancelled.

Tonight, South will travel to West Fairmont to play the Patriots. Game times: 5:45 and 7:15

9TH GRADE GOES TO 4-0

Rachel, WV

The 9th grade team went to North Marion and continued its winning ways with a 71-27 victory over the Huskies. Leading the way in scoring for the Mohigans was Nick Colasante        with 11 points. Ad

MHS will host East Fairmont on Thursday at the Rowdy Center at 7:15. If you canÕt be at the game, log on to mohiganbasketball.com and click on the link to listen to the play by play.

If interested, please contact Mike Ellis at 304-216-3351.
