MYBO VARSITY CLAIMES MOUNTAINEER SHOOTOUT

For the first time in several years the MYBO Varsity claimed the 32nd annual Mountaineer Shootout. In the championship they defeated the Ohio Valley All Stars 47-46, which included several players from Wheeling Park. MYBO 8TH MAKES IT TO CHAMPIONSHIP OF HILLER CLASSIC

A group of the MYBO 8th graders made it all the way to championship of the Hiller classic over the weekend. In the semifinals, Adam Shaw hit a three pointer at the buzzer to defeat Ohio Valley by one point. MYBO led by as much as 18 points in the game before Ohio Valley made a furious comeback. In the championship they were defeated by the DeJaun Blair All-Stars out of Pittsburgh for the second time in the tournament. MYBO 8th plans to play in Moundsville this weekend at the Tri-State Classic. The team is coached by Zach Fox and Jared Wratchford.

 

 

 

 

 

JOIN MYBO WORKOUTS

MYBO Spring workouts for 6th and 7th graders has began at MHS and is held every Tuesday and Thursday evening at MHS from 6:00 to 7:30. Join the Morgantown High coaching staff as they work on fundamentals and teach parts of the MHS system. The clinic is split into 2 phases with one being the fundamental phase and the other a playing phase. The cost is $95 (payable to MYBO), which can be given directly to the coach when attending. Proceeds from the clinic will be shared by MHS and MYBO to help pay for expenses surrounding the Boys basketball program at MHS and its feeder schools.
