Directions for Athletic Events

North Allegheny Tiger Stadium - Astro-turf surface
Take I-79 North to the Wesford exit. Turn right at the exit ramp on to Rt. 910 (Orange Belt). Follow Rt. 910 until it intersects with Rt. 19. Turn right onto Rt. 19 South. Follow Rt. 19 South to the school entrance on the right. It's easy to miss the school entrace, so once you pass the Mcdonald's, go slow until you see the school placard. Enter the drive way to the school, and stay to the left at the "Y" in the road. The stadium is to the left of the school.

The Pines Golf Course Morgantown
I 79 to I 68 (To Cumberland, MD), take the Pierpont Road exit, turn left and go to the bottom of the hill and through the red light. Go a short distance, entrance to The Pines Country Club is on the right.

Brooke High School
I79N to I70W to Washington, PA - Jefferson Street exit - right to traffic light - right to Route 844 - Route 844 to Route 2, proceed to Wellsburg. Go through Wellsburg and Brooke High School is on the right side of the road.

Buckhannon-Upshur
I79S to Exit 99 (Weston). Turn onto Route 33E and proceed toward Buckhannon. Turn right onto 20S and proceed about 5 miles. The high school is located behind the State Police barracks.

East Fairmont High School
I79S to Kingmont Rd. Turn right off the exit and then turn right again. Proceed past the Day's Inn to the school.

East-West Stadium Fairmont
I79S to the Downtown Exit. Proceed on Rt. 250 and across the Highevel Bridge turn left - stadium approximatley 7-8 blocks.

Fairmont Senior
I79S to exit 132. Turn right onto Rt. 250 and proceed 3 miles to the south end of the Watson Bridge. Proceed across the bridge to 8th Street. Turn left onto 8th Street and proceed 6 blocks to the high school.

Woody Williams Armory
Follow the same directions to Fairmont Senior. After crossing Watson Bridge turn left at Pizza Hut. Armory is 2 blocks up on the left.

Elkins High School
Football field - Route 33 to Elkins. Turn left onto Main Street. Football field is located at the high school.
Gymnasium - Route 33 to Elkins. Proceed through town to Route 250. Route 250 past McDonald's. Turn right at the second light onto Kennedy Drive. School is located on Kennedy Drive.

Hampshire
68E to Cumberland and exit at Industrial Boulevard. Proceed straight to the stop light at Kentucky Fried Chicken. At the light, turn right on to Virginia Avenue (Virginia Avenue eventually changes to Route 28). Take Route 28 to Romney, WV. At the first stop light, turn left onto Route 50. Proceed 4 miles and the school is on the right.

Jefferson
68E to 81S. Proceed on 81S to the Charlestown Exit. Turn left off the exit 9 onto Route 9E. Proceed on Route 9E to Flowing Springs Road. The high school is 1 mile on left.

John Marshall
79N to 70W at Washington, PA follow 70W to Route 2S toward Moundsville. The high school is located on Route 2.

Keyser
Football Stadium - 68E to Lavelle Exit (Route 220 South). Route 220S into Keyser. Turn right onto State Street. Football Stadium is located on State Street.
Gymnasium - Use the same directions to get to Keyser. Turn left at the light onto Southern Drive. Keyser Primary-Middle School is located on Southern Drive.

Lewis County
Football Stadium - 79S to Exit 99. Turn left off the exit and proceed 2 miles to Chrysler Dealership. Turn right and the football field is located at the old high school.
Gymnasium - 79S to Exit 96. Turn right off the exit and proceed .5 miles crossing US Route 19. Gymnasium is located at the new high school.

Liberty (Harrison County)
Gymnasium - 79S to Route 50W. Proceed toward Clarksburg. Turn onto Route 98E. The school is on Route 98E.

Lincoln
79S to the Saltwell Exit (approximately 35 minutes from Morgantown). Turn right at the exit. Second left after the exit (this is Saltwell Road). Continue on Saltwell Road to Shinnston. In Shinnston, turn left at junction 19. School is approximately 3 minutes from the junction.

Martinsburg
68E to 81S. Follow 81S to Exit 12 then Route 9E to Charlestown. In Charleston, use the Queen Street Exit.

Nicholas County
79S to Exit 57. Turn left onto Route 19S. School is on Route 19S.

North Marion
79S to Exit 132. At exit, follow Route 250N through Farmington. The school is located 2 miles past Farmington on Route 250N.

Oak Glen
79N to 70W then 70W to Route 2N near Wheeling then Route 2N to Route 8N in New Cumberland. Oak Glen High School is located on Route 8N.

Parkersburg
79S to Route 50W. 50W to the 7TH Street Exit in Parkersburg. Proceed past the Go Mart. Turn right onto Harrison Avenue and proceed to the four-way stop. Turn left onto 23RD Street. Proceed to the stoplight and high school is on the left.

Philip Barbour
79S to Exit 115(Nutter Fort) then follow 20S at the exit and proceed to Route 57E. Route 57E to Route 119N. 119N through the covered bridge. After passing through the covered bridge follow 250S to Philipi. The school and athletic facilities are located 4 miles outside of town on 250S.

Preston
7N to Kingwood. Turn right at the Bruceton Bank onto 26S. Proceed .5 mile and turn left onto Kingwood Road. Preston High School is on the left.

St. Albans
High School - 79S to 64W at Charleston. 64W to 60W(MacCorkle Avenue). Proceed on MacCorkle to Kenowa Terrace. Proceed on Kenowa Terrace for approximately 1 mile to a light. Pass through the light and the high school is 2 blocks on the right. Football field - 79 South to 64W at Charleston. Proceed on 64W to 60W(MacCorkle Avenue). The football field is off of MacCorkle Avenue.

South Harrison
79S to Exit 110(Lost Creek). Turn right and proceed 1 mile to a four-way stop. At the four-way stop, turn right and proceed 3 miles and the school is located on the left.

Washington Irving
High School - 79S to the Clarksburg/Bridgeport Exit. Turn right on to Route 50 to the Chestnut Street Exit. Turn right onto Chestnut Street. Proceed through 2 stoplights and Washington Avenue. Turn left onto Lee Avenue, which is the second street after Washington Avenue. Proceed 2 blocks and the school is located on the right.

Wier
Football Field - 79N to 70W. 70W to the Pittsburgh Airport Exit. Proceed to Exit 22/30W. Follow on 22W for 20 miles to Weirton. Main Street Exit and turn to 2N and proceed to Virginia Avenue. Two blocks and turn right. The school is located on the right.
High School - 79N to 70W then 70W to the Pittsburgh Airport Exit. Proceed on the parkway to Exit 22/30W. Proceed on 22W for 20 miles to Weirton. Use the Harmon Creek Exit. Veer right off the exit and proceed to the second light. Turn right on to Weir Avenue. Veer right on Weir Avenue. Turn right onto South 11TH Street and proceed to the first right (Red Rider Road). The school is located on this street.

Wheeling Park
Football Stadium - 79N to 70W. Proceed on 70W through the Wheeling Tunnels. Cross over the Ford Henry Bridge. Turn left off the exit. Proceed to the first light and turn left. Travel 2 blocks and then turn left onto South Front Street. Proceed for .25 mile and the field is located on the right.
High School - 79N to 70W then take 70W to the Elm Grove Exit. Turn left at the exit and proceed to the four-way intersection. Turn right and travel over a bridge and through two lights. This will place you at the Wheeling Park Entrance. Turn right at the stop sign and proceed on this road to the high school.
 
WVSSAC
Take I-79 S to Route 50 West.  Take 50 West to 77 South to Parkersburg.  Take exit 174 – Staunton Ave Exit.  At the end of the exit take a left.  Go approximately ? mile.  WVSSAC office is on your left.
